I'm a native Texan (mom was an Okie), learned to drive in a '48 Ford 3-ton grain truck loaded to twice it's GVW so it neither got moving in a hurry or stopped in a hurry.
Working on a '49 Willys Overland now, but thinking of selling it and getting one of those fiberglass extended cab '30 Ford pickups.
Decisions, decisions:rolleyes:
Went to the drags when they smoked the tires the whole quarter-mile and the only sub-10 second runs were by the fuelers.
Live just south of Louisville, KY, which is important only because of the NSRA Nationals every summer.:D 10,000 cars in colors Henry Ford never imagined:rolleyes:
Retired teacher, retired Army Reservist, active photographer and woodworker.
