PIR for the first since 1985 a FED has gone down the track 7.59 on a crap not prepped track..Danny oh not me in the seat Tyson, I am a partner in this madness. Best time so far 7.45 at 177 at SIR past summer. Now we shoot for 200 mph..

All iron small block Chevy Blown Injected on Alky. Our last car I could only get in with a T shirt, this one I fit fine. As soon as my wife says its ok I wanna make enuff passes to get my licence and to do 200 mph before I leave this earth. Its a blast just sitting in it to warm up before a pass. Look for us next time you are at SIR Woodburn or PIR. We call ourselves Sweet Raicing...Danny

Cool Sj, our firts car was a Tuttle built for Childs and Albert one of their Addict cars. At one of the Hot Rod Reuniuns I got to talk with Rocky Childs for over a hour about the fact that we had their old car. He ask some questions about the car and said yup that was our old car. Hey Superbell - Thanks alot, that search for the picture I scanned turned up a bunch of shots from my travels, and I've spent the last half hour going through pictures instead of working on my car http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I found a lot from Bakersfield - some may be of HAMBER cars - and lots of the old historic cars. I'll try to get a web page set up and scan them to it so you guys can see if yours is there, or maybe someone you know. (Most of them from '95 to '97 so far)

Thanks Guys with all this winter this post has given me a needed boost! I really like to see posts like these, I was running low 12's in my roadster last year. November I did a little more head work and some roller rockers so this summer at the Nostalgia Drags I should be in the 11's, ain't it fun?

This is my other car. It has run a 6.67 e.t. in the 1/8th when it had a warmed over 502 in it. thatis with 3.55 gears a 2800 stall and I drove it to the track 40 miles. It now has a 540 in it. I dont go to the track any more I just wait for local kids to set up "photo ops". ha ha I've got your euro swinging.

Radshit we never did better than 121 last year. Found one of our problems with the engine upon disassembly to build the new one. There is a small hole in the number 5 exhaust port that leads to the water jacket.
