Hello to everybody!:D
This is my 2nd attempt to write this and I'll try not delete it:( ...like I did earlier today.Ok..with that my name is JP from Flint,MI.I drive a flatblack, mild custom '49 Ford 2dr Sedan(yes I do drive it around and to work(sometimes) for those of you who know me).You might have seen it at the 2nd Annual Billetproof in Davisburg,MI.Went to the 1st Annual also but sans car...I had to carry my upright bass and amp there to play....what's that you say?? Oh..I am the founder of the Rockabilly Trio the "Swingin' Demons" formed back in 1994.I am the lead vocalist who used to play the rhythm guitar back as a 4 piece but switched to the upright to hold the band together after we defunct in '97, and are now a 3 piece(now with 2 cd's).Lost a bass player and drummer then but picked up a rockin' rhythm machine named Steve Jagenow.I couldn't be happier! We were also at the Hunnert Car Pileup 2 weekends ago to play for the 1st time. Thanks to the Chrome Czars for having us!! Sold many a cd too.Hope everyone who purchased the cd enjoys it and also enjoyed our show.Anyways,at both shows I met many people dedicated to the H.A.M.B. and told me I need to hop aboard.....so here I am.I joined last week but this is my 1st opportunity to really intro myself.I also am currently working on a '32 pickup project(slowly but surely) and someday I even may finish the '49. If anyone wants to know more about me,the band,my projects,go ahead and ask,I can take it.Hot rods,Kustoms,Rockabilly,Art and '50's collecting is what I'm all about...and that's why I'm here to meet more people like myself.
Thanks for reading!
Regards,
JP
