i don't know so that why im asking can you weld sheet steal to stainles steel??can you paint stainlees steel??:eek: the reason im asking i just got 5 sheets of louvers (from back of steam machine to heat food where i work) for free they were in the trash i got them for nothing and considering what they charge for louvers?? what the hell they were free i have 3 sheets 4x4 of them

oh yeh weld it up ,you can weld the two together but the stainless is more prone to warping than the carbon steel is so be carefull, as for painting not 100% sure but it shouldn't be any different than plain steel, its not like the paint soaks in or anything lol
