´39 Buick Kustom concept for Hamber psychodaemon. I did this couple days ago. Lot of modifications: lowered headlights, smoothened runing boards & door bottoms and chopped hard top roof. Note also longer side trim and flush fender skirts. I hope you like it.

Yes I do!
That sideglass/trim/wingwindows is exactly what I plan to do to my car this winter, so it is cool to have something to look at for inspiration while I'm trying to put it together in real life.
Beyond your obvious illustration skills, the customs you "put together" are always sooo tasty!

Janne...amazing as usual. I put these t-shirt designs in an auction last week, but I guess it's still art. Some might disagree because it didn't get me dirty. There is one more, but you can always spy the auctions to see it. Flip side of the shirts (if any) are on their too. More ideas are perculating in between my ears. Gimme time.
Mental note: the downside of ordering 1000 shirts is you have to fold them! I'm just sayin'..................

I also painted some WWII bomber pinup art on the sides of my PU. I have a newfound respect for all you signpainters out there. This was my first attempt at a project such as this. I painted the sides at different times during the last week so each side is a little different 'cause I tried to 'improve' the 2nd one I painted.
I'm not real happy with how the lettering turned out but it'll do.

Been doing a lot of production work of late and haven't had much time to fool around in the shop so I thought I'd do a few posts of other people's work;most of which I have in my shop now.I'll try and remember the people's names but don't hold me to them as I might be wrong on a couple.
First two pics are of the Broken Dream Kruise posters by Jeff Shea.
The second are of a Christmas card I received a couple of years ago from an extremely talented painter in Massachusetts named Ken Jacobs.

Next is not a panel but a belt buckle I bought at a flea market many years ago for $5 and it turned out to be a limited edition piece by Salvador Dali.
Then a collaborative panel by our own Unkl Ian and Dave,"Letterfly" Knoderer.
Next a 3-D panel by a striper in Colorado who goes under the name,"Kustommixt".Ground aluminum candied and flamed with an aluminum cutout of a guitar player.
Last one of my favorites by Lee,"Vance" Hulick of New Carlisle Ohio simply titled,"Your Brain on Pinstriping"
safariknut
09-29-2005, 11:57 PM
Next a couple of panels I bought back in the early 70's from Don Penttila of Sutton Massachusetts;probably the first person I ever knew who sold his artwork at car shows.
Then a great panel by our own Delaware George. The pic doesn't do it justice.
Then a take on Harvey by Dennis Gibbish of Plymouth Michigan.Dennis is definitely old school and has been striping and lettering as long as I have.

Here's a few panels I have done recently. The orange/blue one was donated to the "Jamie-fest" show, and the black one (it was 18"x24") was sold this afternoon. I did the engine turning on the panel at my dad's shop, which took me about 2 hours to do. It's kinda hard to take pictures of the engine turned one !

Another amazing Friday Art display.
Hidden I love what you do with that Vector art stuff. I really liked the T coupe you did. But that Deuce 3 window in my view is your best yet.
My father is in hospital on a long term basis and the staff do a computer name tag with an image on it for the door of some of the patients rooms. A real nice gesture, but I wanted to do something special. I hope you don't mind ( Hidden), but I used one of your great pieces and complimented it with some of my lines!
