Is there a difference between 1940 Ford Passenger Car and Truck, Front and Rear Suspension parts/brakes? I found a guy selling rear suspension and front suspension for a 40 Panel truck, but I'm looking for stuff from a Passenger Car (I think).
Still haven't picked up my Green Bible, but I'm still lookin for it, so I don't have to put up all these questions. Thanks. Matt

Frames the same. Running gear (brakes included) the same.
1/2 tons (panels and pickups) had more leaves in the springs.

That would mean that the delivery front and rear suspension stuff is the same?? Thanks, I hope you're right, the price on this stuff looks pretty good.

35-40 and 41 pickup car and 1/2 ton parts interchange very well. There were small differences such as the truck frame was 10 gauge, the car 11 gauge.

suspension and steering parts are same. I used 41 pickup stuff under my 33 ford pickup and it took 40 passenger car brakes and steering rebuild parts.. go for it.

Truck and Car have been interchanged since I was a Pup. In the chassis interchange book all parts are listed as 35-40 car and 35-41 pickup. It's just nuts and bolts buddy.
