Socal, thats my favorite truck cab. I went to a gathering this morning and there was a 28-29 with black fenders and red oxide body with yellow wire wheels. It was the berries. It was an un-cut cab with full bed ,but was still a nice ride. TP

I like it. I had a 28,29 truck a few years ago i was gonna build. Started to mock it up and everything..then sold it for my '53 chevy.
I like the chop..you cut a lot out of that sucker..i think the stock opening was around 19"..i had mine marked for about the same chop as yours.
Looking good!

The wheel is late s-10 spare 16 inch.
This thing is taking me forever to build. I have made all the patterns for the top,now with a friend to build(he's a wood guy I'm not)8.5 inch chop, suicide doors, 7 inch drop axle 9 inch with 3.00 gears, and 330 Desoto.
I'm now in full speed ahead want it done this spring March Meets Here I come.

SCW, if you get a chance, can you check and see if that wheel has any numbers on it? Hayes wheels is here in town. I can get there blems for free. A set of four would look really good painted up. Thanks, Dean http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
