My 53 has been converted to 12 volt and I noticed that the wire to the gas guage sending unit has been cut off before I got the car. Should it be o k as I have the amp and the oil pressure guage hooked up now.( it has a 350/350) in it and its a pain in the ass not having a gas guage.
Thanks:D:D

You will need to use a resistor and dash voltage regulator to lower and maintain consistent voltage for the instrument Ie fuel gauge. The ammeter and oil pressure gauges don't know come here from sick 'em in your case.

But most of all you need to post the question in the correct forum to get a good response.

if by "that forum" you mean the Tech Archive,
that's an archive, not an open forum.

technical questions are asked on the main board.

this forum is for questions about how the HAMB works..

which in a back asswards way has just happened here.
