I have been trying to decide the best approach to updating the front end of my 54 plymouth. Have located a 79 volare wagon with a 318. everything I read says that measurement must be close for this to work. the track of the volare is 60" but the 54 is only 57-1/2". Is this close enough or will the wheels stick out of the wells too far? Others say that the front suspension of the 54 is modern enough that a disc brake kit would be good enough. What do you think?
