I was wondering when you chop the roof on a 53 or 54 chevy and you slant the post does that make the back window non-functional? as I cant see how you would be able to roll down the back side windows. Thanks Dave

What he said^^^
But to answer your question.. I believe it makes them non functional.
I chopped my 53 and canted the 'B' pillars, and there's just about no way i could have made the quarter window's work..
Maybe if the chop isn't extreme you 'might' be able to make it work....but i think it would take some serious work to the regulator because the window would still have to move back and down at the same time...

Thanks Tony, I posted this on a couple of other sites and got the same answer.
Oh well who needs back windows to open anyways.

Just a thought, but I was given the idea that you could fab a slide in/slide out window. Don't have a clue as to how one would make it work, but I would assume you'd need to quite a bit to the posts to make it work. and you'd only be able to mess with them with the doors open....
Keep hope alive,
Geoff
