stick shift transmissions
like the ashy-faced barn owl
an almost dead breed

majority rules:
a shiftless society
hates the third pedal

car enthusiasts
not enthused by driving car?
might spill the latte

stop and go traffic
the pedal is much too hard!
my tattoos are fierce

things are much better
when the car makes decisions
I still have to steer?

meanwhile, the holdouts
crusty like dinosaur bones
reject the slush box

the donor car search
C4! C6! AOD!
doomed to frustration

a rare deranged mind
might still insist on a clutch
pity the poor fool
