Points Question...

I went out to fire up the Ford today, which has been sittin' for a couple months and with help from Jerry, we determined that there was no spark. The car is a '55 Fairlane with a Y block. I have the 57 Distributor in it now. It HAS the Pertronix ignitor II in it now, but we're thinking that is the problem. I don't remember how the points/coil/ ballast resistor were all wired up before. Can someone give me a quick tutorial on hooking this stuff back up?

12v lead from ignition switch to ballast resistor.
lead from ballast resistor to positive term on cail.
lead from negative side of coil to the points.
