HI guys, have been a member for awhile, but never introduced myself, I am Jeff and from nw oklahoma, I own a metalshaping shop, and we build cars/bikes etc, basically anything made of metal, I always enjoy going thru the site and looking at all the post, I am getting ready to strat on my own A and have a very rare 41 packard pickup and is going to go under the knife one of these days, I have trouble doing my own stuff, the shop is full of customers projects, but it pays the bills, we do louvers (8 different sizes) and power hammer metalshaping,, anyone in the area can feel free to stop by and chat

no, I actually just sold that car, it went ot Sydney Austrailia, I am on the lookout for another on to restore, or maybe even a funnycar from the late 60s/early 70s

they are $2 each, but you have to have all the understructure out of the way and have them layed out (start and stop points and center lines etc) otherwise is is houly shop rate, if you do more than 100 louvers, i'll come off the price some

I do alot of work for the OKC street rod shops, but am relatively unknown around here (enid), I know carey, I do sheetmetal work for him, he fabs big heavy metal stuff, I just do sheetmetal and chassis stuff,, feel free to stop by

Hey fellow Hambers I just wanted to tap in here and let you guys know that this guy does some good work. I have known this guy for about 5 years, and recently he made me some skins for my 35 chevy coupe, and the length and size and radius words cannot describe how close they were. They fit like a glove. He is currently working on 2 pieces for my front cowl. I have also seen many other cars and custom work he has done embossing, bead rolling, louvers, and rust patching. He also does painting. So if your ever in need of these type of services you might give him a call. I am not trying to sell a friend, but I am just very impressed in what he does.

Thanks for the words Carey, and Hi Gorden, need to talk to you bout doing some striping on the kids Karmann Ghia, we did a flat back job on it and punched the hood (trunk) full of louvers, but it needs some color, ala pinstriping

hey there, wish you were an olds guy, I bought several olds short blocks from a defunct machine shop (shut down 30 yrs ago) and I need to know what I have, maybe an olds guy will chime in, bass player?? mee too , have 12 sting I play right now (bass, not guitar), I havew a buddy in Dallas that is a major Pontiac guy, cool cars!

Hi all, I recently bought 7 olds short blocks from a defunct machine shop, this place closed in the early 70s and had these shortblocks still wrapped in cosmoline, couldn't pass them up, now the problem is that I am not an Olds guy (per se) but am building a model A tudor and would like to use one of these olds in it for the nostalgia factor (plus I hear they are pretty stout), I need to know what I have to figure out what I'm going to use, a few of them I was told were early big blocks and some are small blocks, I do know the big blocks are indeed OLds (have the built in bellhousing), but the small blocks have no way to positively I.D. them (at least not for a olds newbie), here are the casting #s that I have off of the blocks, hopefully someone can help me out.

block 6) possible small block 1464819 on rear top of block 5760018410 on right front just in front of where head bolts down
