Beautiful stocker and museum piece. At 25k original miles, chopping it up would be ignorant to your wallet. That cars an investment not a custom. Theres plenty of 49-51 fords out there to play with.

Dig the color combo.

notice that he is mistakenly calling it a coupe

Ahhh, but it IS a coupe...I'd venture to say it was called a "business coupe"...and NOT a "club coupe" as most assume Ford only made...

There were club coupes, business coupes and convertible club coupes in 1949!!!

It's a 2-door sedan. Coupes have little roofs and long trunks/deck areas. Nutz

Maybe this will explain it better................

OK OnelowDelivery...If you'd been paying attention and reading car mags...there was/is a company out of the east coast somewhere that makes a Fiberglass Tucker body (believe it was Ida Automotive) about a year or so ago...

Now all you have to do is Put up or shut up!

That's one beautiful car.... not something I'd want. I'd be too worried about taking care of something that nice. ANd when you've got siblings in the house known for breaking things, it's even worse!

I WAS paying attention and you sure as hell didn't state anything about a REAL metal Tucker-built Tucker.

Besides, who in their right mind would GIVE you a Tucker...there's a lot of stupid people out there but they aren't that dumb to simply hand one over and I haven't seen anything yet you've "built".

I still contend it's put up or shut up time for you!

40studedude,
that guy just doesnt learn.....he is a complete tool .......maybe if we all ignore him he will go away.....no probably not....he said awhile back he was gonna sit out for a bit and learn....yeah that lasted about 5 minutes ....now he is talkin shit again.........he is not making any friends around here is he???? are listening 1load ???????

back to the ford ......really nice .....ya dont see a whole lot of crestliners around....especially that clean .....i may have to think twice before ..cutting into it .....but just lowered it would be stunning......hell i even like the colors...

That is definitely a 2dr Sedan. The Crestliners are fairly rare...the steering wheels are bringing around $1500 now for decent examples. There are several pretty obvious differences in trim between the Custom and Crestliner models besides the steering wheel too.

And I have to agree with Daign, that one really is more of a museum piece than custom fodder... although it would look pretty good lowered.

I've always kinda liked "Sportsman Green" too...

I have one New Years wish and that's on Jan. 2nd someone is going to come on here and tell us that 1LowDelivery was just a horrible dream and he has been recommitted to the home never to be heard from again.
