HI BOB!

Hello from Blue Springs, MO!!! After lurking for months and finally having the pleasure of going to the HAMB Drags at MoKan, I have finally joined. (Thanks Kerry!) The drags were more than I could have hoped for! I grew up in Pittsburg, KS just a little north of Asbury and saw my first funny car there too.
I am forty something, trying to raise a wife and two kids, kids are 13 and 16. Been looking for a 51 Henry J for over over 20 years that was buildable and affordable, ended up with two, since I found one that fit the affordable part first. It will be a parts car or something. I have a long way to go but at least I am on the road. If you live long enough, you might find what you are looking for! BOB

Hey Joe! Thanks for the invite! The Perkins you asked about is still there and does a brisk business. I am working 12 hour shifts all this week and it makes the nites short since I drive about 65 miles round trip a day. Enjoy what Perkins has to offer and have a safe journey!
I-70 is under construction starting at 7 Hiway, and ending around MO 291, its not too bad but you may have to take an outer road to get back on I-70 when you leave. ROAD TRIP!!!!!

Hi Bob.
I stared at a Henry J. for a long time. I even named it Hank, but probably like alot you saw over 20 years, it just seemed like a lost cause. Have fun.
