Of course they ran pics of our 51 F-1 so I'm a little biased. The mags not realy my style, but my car club was asked to provide some cars for a photo shoot almost two years ago. I did it just for fun of it and never expected them to print anything, even when they said they would. Even let my subscription run out cause I had given up. And wouldn't you know it? They ran the pics a month after it expired! I know its no big deal but its been a thrill for the wife and I. November 2003 and color too! Of course I look like a dork.

I think the Southern version Sucks, and since Northern is no different then the southern version you can guess my opinion of that also.... just plan crappy.. look thru it at the book store just to see if there is anything in it... bought the northern version once because it had a wagon in it and I wanted info on it while I was building mine

I dont care for either. Sorry, my thoughts. WHen I look at them I see a poorly written magazine that is run by folks for their pals cars to get coverage.And they have the worst, read nonexistant tech, in the industry!

Pretty much the reaction I expected. Didn't expect anyone here to like it. I was kidding, I'm not crazy about it either. Its way short on everything I look for in a magazine,{Tech, old style rods, budget home built stuff] but seeing your ride in print is fun and this is a first and most likely a last for me, so I'm going to enjoy it.

Don't let em get you down Oilcan. I'm pathetic I guess, but when R&C had my car in it, it was the proudest moment of my car life. Any ink about my stuff in ANY magazine is great to me. Maybe I have low standards....

Oilcan Harry, post a photo of your ride right here on the HAMB and I guarantee you more folks will see it here then in that "rag". Haven't been a fan of it since the begining even though both Paula Bass and Carol Winslet are pals-o-mine. I work too hard for my money to waste it on reading material thats not worth my time reading. Congrats on the spread though, does make one feel good when their ride shows up in print.

Well Denise, I've tried numerous times to post PICS on here. But even following the step by step intructions [and they ARE good instuctions] nothing ever happens. I think there is something in my computer setup that prevents me posting pics here. Part way through the process it just quits. I'm a computer moron and know NOTHING about them, so I'll just sit quietly in the corner of this padded room and read my louzy rag. LOL Just let it die, its not important.

Picked up Northern Rodder for the first time last week and hated it instantly. I thumbed thorough it to find they had done a feature on a car I had shot for CKD at the Road Agents Rumble last Summer . Those bastards. I had to buy every issue so nobody else could see it. The magazine needs to regroup and figure what kind of magazine they want to print. Is it a Muscle car, Street rod or a Custom mag? They do cover all categories. I did pick up this months issue of Southern Rodder since the Greazy Hubcapz are in it. That was kind of cool.
