help me spend my christmas money

Hey guys,

I have a few bucks I got from christmas and my birthday (Dec 23rd... I turned the big 3-0). So, what better to spend it on than learning more about building hot rods? As many of you already know, I don't yet have a project, so I figure the next best thing to hands-on learning is reading books (and HAMB posts of course).

I already have quite a library, but I came across a few that I don't have at Motorbooks.com. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to which are better than others?

I started with just a frame pics of my car just got posted never used any books

Check out ebay. I got almost all of my books there as well as through the used marketplace on amazon. fastcat

looks like you have already graduated from the "magazine guys" university of how to books......I suggest you spend that money on some hand [and small power tools] and some small parts that could be adapted or used on a project of your choice......then work with them.......

My car has never left the garage since built. First thing first what do you want to build, second do you want to start from scratch or buy a project someone is giving up on.
Dude you cant go buy a book because they are all to vague. If you want a 32 ford check everything on them, if you want a Model A, research that type. Fat fendered and Kustoms are built differently than fenderless cars. If you need info I can help on A's but decide what you are planning and make yourself a build up book it helps
