Well, first off I should apologize for jumping the gun in the classifieds. I, in a fever from trying to get my ride on the road, foolishly posted a WTB ad a little early on. Not to worry, justice was swift and harsh, as it should have been. So, sorry to all and thanks to the guys who helped me out with a little advice. I’m 33, I live in Austin, Texas, and I am a studio engineer and a bartender. I mostly record rock bands with no money, imagine that. I have been into old cars and bikes since I was about 15. I got my first dirt bike at 9, and have been riding them ever since. I started off with VW’s, and had a ’77 bug, a ’62 bug, and a ’66 bus (I swear I never wore tie-dye). I bought the ’77 before I knew what to look for. Anyway, I’ve had a couple of bikes along the way, an electraglide and a panhead. I sadly sold the pan a couple of years back, and have been cool vehicle-less ever since. So I guess right after the last round-up, I just couldn’t take it anymore, and started selling stuff like crazy to build a model A. I started with a tudor body, but as I have gotten further along, I have decided to do a pickup. I have had a lot of help from some great people around here, and I want to thank everyone who has pitched in to make this happen (whether I gave you money or not!). Well, I hope to contribute positively to this board in the future, so howdy to y’all. Glad to be here!
