st.louis new H.A.M.B.er

Hello gents just wanted to say hi and tell you all how great the H.A.M.B. drags were. Left there and felt guilty for not bein a member so here i am.
My name is Brian Fox and I am a architectural sign fabricator from St.Louis.I have always loved hot rods and my main passion is front engine dragsters. I am currently building a f.e.d. per period 1963. It is blown, two port hilborn injected, smallchevy with direct drive. All old parts only thing new is tubing and internal engine parts. Over the winter last year I built a rat rod truck, which someone here on the H.A.M.B.posted pics of from when i had it at The Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green. It is a 36 dodge truck that says King Chassis on the door. But sad to say the truck is sold now. So on a positive note i am back on full time on the dragster. Look for it at the H.A.M.B drags next year (i hope) . And on the look out for a Model A coupe to work on after the dragster is done. howdee from across the river, mmmmmm hillsboro, my brother lives just outside town on hi-way BB. ya may have seen him riding around town in his white 39 Dodge last year. i know he use to go to all the cruz's they had out there & also to the shows. BUT whats the date on the show cause ya never know we mite just show up..joe

If you are talking the orange 55 chevy, yes it has flake. He had it in Bowling Green, but not the HAMB drags That is my friends car. His name is mark and if you talked to him you probably noticed that he has extensive knowlege about alot of car stuff. And is interesting to talk to.
No havent seen the white dodge running around. The date for the show is always the first FRIDAY of every month, and this one is this fri. and CAR CRAFT MAGAZINE is going to be there. The show is always big so get there early. It is in the parking lot of a hotel called STRATFORD INN just off of HWY 44 just west of HWY 270 across from the Chrysler plant.
Hope to see both you guys there it is a great show, my wife knows to plan accordingly every first fri. caus she knows where i'll be. KING CHASSIS

I was glad to attend. Thought for sure i was going to win the pontiac. had my hopes up. Sure was a nice car. Bill is one hell of a nice guy to do stuff like that for you. Man that show was big. It was the first time i seen Jeffs blown straight axle nova, that thing is cool. ever go to bills (for every one else..orange henery j that rode a one tire wheelie in bowling green) on thurs? if so may be ill see you there.

Hey man we'er practically neighbors! I live in High Ridge just off Hwy 30. About 5 miles west of 141. Man , does Missouri have the most members or what? Just goes to show you what a great thing the H.A.M.B is . What a cool thing, if it would be possible, for us all to convoy to the Joplin next year. What a traffic stopper that would be. Hope to see you at Fenton next month.
