Hi I'm Fred and i hate introductions but here goes. Born in 1950 and have had a modified vehicle of some kind since I was 12. Worked as an engine builder and then aerospace machinist as long as I can remember. Now I am a gage calibrator and inspector. Started a rod club here in Grand Rapids in the early 70's that is still around. I would rather look at workmanship than style. I collect club plaques and almost anything auto related. Bling is not my thing.

Welcome. Could you post a pic of your collection of club plaques? :DSure soon as I figure out how. The plaques are spread all over my garage but I'll get some pics posted. I have about 70 and 40 are old originals and the rest are copies fakes or repops that I got before I figured out I was getting screwed trading my originals with some no so honest guys in CA:o . I don't mind the recast stuff I just want to keep it seperate from the old stuff.

Welcome to the HAMB, from us HAMBERS in TEXAS. THANKS! I work with a couple of guys from Texas and looks like Texans are a wild bunch. I am putting together a 1960 Chev pu in the old speed shop push truck style that I plan on running year round here in Michigan where rust never sleeps but you gotta drive em.
