I've striped and and lettered a couple of vehicles lately, but nothing worth posting. Learning to tattoo has kept me pre-occupied and waaay behind on my painting orders (sorry, to those of ya'll still waiting...I'm getting there.) I've been doing some pretty decent tattoos, but they haven't been "car related", so I didn't really wanna take up space here. I DID paint a couple of things for some HAMBers, but I neglected to get pics before I shipped them, so we'll have to see if they post them or not. Looks like the art show is doin just without me anyways!

Oh, Allison-- the way you make big images is to have your photos hosted somewhere besides the HAMB. I use photobucket.com, but there are others like imageshack, flickr, fotki, etc. I don't know if one is any better than the others, but most are free until you put too much stuff out on them. Once you have your big images on the hosting site, see the "Questions & Suggestions" section here on the HAMB for excellent instructions on how to make it happen here.

Oh, and the ink in TRJ was cool. Good article!

Here's a sign I just finished and installed this morning in Baltimore's Austin Grill. Scary Larry helped me build the can - both of us learning how to mig aluminum on the fly! You (obviously) can't tell in a still shot, but the lasso is on a sequencer so that it looks like it's in motion going up and down the cowgirl.

My bud has this cool old drag car. It was the "Mullins & Buddo" 56' Chev. Pretty famous car around these parts. The black paint is still the original and you can see a ghost of where it said "Mullins & Buddo" on the quarters. Dauber lettered and striped it in 74' a lot of the striping is still there. The front end was repaired and put in primer... I striped it to match. Dauber is a killer striper, and I can'y hold a candle to his work.

I'll post a pic of it freshly lettered leaving daubers shop in a second...

This was in 1974... I think. Leaving daubers shop.

The other is in the early 80's at Edgewater. Note, the names have been rubbed off but the striping was left alone... DAMN that thing is leaving hard!!!!
