I couldn't ever find a cheap enough way to ship it. The cheapest shipping I found was still close to $200. too much for me.

I think I am going to build my own grill for the purple truck anyways.

My first response would be to sell it and build a Model A.

The idea of a large-scale hot rod from a fire truck is cool. Compared to that dog though, maybe it isn't that big... or that dog is one big SOB.

Save all the rust and scale and put it in a 55 gallon drum. Sell it on Ebay a gallon at a time as "Rat Rod Patina". Instructions - Brush your 'glass car with contact cement and toss the 'RRP' at it. You'd make a fortune. Dive in!

Fuelpump just told me that Hatch got a laptop computer for Christmas. Now he won't have any reason to EVER get out of bed. I'll bet he's already called Hugh Hefner to get some pointers. If I had known we could have chipped in for a pair of silk pajamas and A couple of cases of Pepsi. I can just see it now him and the dog lounging on the bed, watching TV, checking out the HAMB on the internet, sliding into his slippers so he can polish the old Harley parked at the foot of the bed
