Lurked for a while and decided to sign up.

I'm 27. Stand 6'3" and weigh 225. Been out of the Marine Corps for 5 years now, am working and trying to complete my degree at THE Ohio State University.

Grew up a farm kid and learned to tinker with machinery there. Built my first car from 14 to 16. '66 Chevelle with a 396, muncie 4spd and 4:11's. In Corps built a 62 Chevy p/u longbed stepside 283 and the truck 4spd. Since then I've built a 52 Chevy 4dr, very mild custom, 216 3spd man, shaved and lowered slightly, and a 50 Studebaker 1 1/2 ton dually flat bed, Caddy 500 TH400. Then bought a 63 Chevy shortbed stepside. Got married bought a house sold the runners and the project for down payment. Currently driving 90 Dodge Caravan and saving my pennies to buy another project.

I'm in Columbus Ohio. I'll get out of my minivan as soon as I find a '55-'69 one ton pick up to turn into my shop truck. Borrowing a buddy's truck to go junkyarding sux!

Thanks for the welcome. Now back to lurking in the shadows.
