It was close to xmas so when I got a call to help out a gray beard with his firewall project how could I say no? With a quiver in his voice and maybe a little tear in his eye he spoke" Get your ass over here and paint my firewall now!". So I did as I was ask, remeber respect your elders..
Heres what Pist and I did a couple of weekends ago. Friday was prep seal and base white. Then Pist put 18 hours into masking(he is kinda anal). Then I returned, based white to seal edges of masking tape, base black pull squares, did a little touch up and lay down 3 coats O clear. Got lucky and it flowed out and no buffing was neccesary. I put in about 10 hours and like I said Pist put in 18. I wnated this ready for tech week but oh well. In person when you look straight on the firewall your eyes start to jump around and if you stare too long your head will pop....Danny

Damn! How the hell did you do that? Thanks for all your help Danny! Your almost like the Son I never had, and yes I'm anal. For the rest of you the car has a Nova clip done by me 22 years ago. It will once again run a 350-4 bolt main turbo 350 with Tri-power. Gonna have some fun for a while and then sell it. I have another project waiting that's way more Kool. This is just a practice run. (How the Hell did you get those pictures to post?)

damn the sada that was jacked from my dads garage was damn cool, but it sure didn't do all that. it sprayed flake allright but i must not of understood how to use the checkerboard setting, i thought that was just a fancy pressure guage on the handle.
