hey i bought a project that came with a 303 olds in it. it's rebuilt with an edelbrock intake and 3 holley 97 carbs on it. new starter, fuel pump, water pump, and a distributor. wondering what it's worth?

That's a good question... probably worth some cash, I'm sure. Those 303's are awesome little rot rod motors... seen them a lot on the rat rod types. To the right guy building a project I'm sure it's worth something at least.

Around here that would easily fetch $500-1000 particularly if it was a stick setup with Cad/LaSalle box.

Its a keeper friend, if for no other reason you already have it. Run what ya brung.
Super motors, and if I'm not mistaken it does fit the Old School criteria. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ok guy's , i got the flywheel dug out of it's hole in my shop. it's a marine unit. much lighter than the stock units. my stock one weigh's 32 lbs, while the marine unit tips the scales at 25lbs. the engine it came off of ,came out of a fishing boat. it appears the it's all made by Barr Marine. the flywheel is a GM unit tho, but has been machined much lighter than the stock ones. this one even has a double bolt pattern for the pressure plates. ok now what's next?. anyone interested, or do i still have to dig the other one out, that i know is stock?
