Been puting this off but I guess it is about time. I have mostly a circle track expirence that is where the NVRA#44 comes from. I have a 1955 ford vintage racecar that was built in the memory of one of my dads old cars from back in the 60's I also have a 1980 Trans Am that I have owned for about 12 years second owner. I have a 1961 Chevy pickup stepside short bed project that I have been messing with for about two years have not made a bunch of progress with yet. My 1955 for has a big block Fe 390 cui. and when I raced circle track I also ran a Fe block. So I may be able to contribute on some Fe questions. My 1955 Ford was also used in the movie 3 The Dale Earnhardt Story and I was also in the movie. Thats right a movie star! I live in South Carolina in the upstate. I will just be checking in every now and then till I get more familure with every thing and you might hear from me from time to time. You know Billy Bob that modifiedriver is all ways talking about well he is my half brother and my brotherinlaw he married my half sister.:p

Welcome aboard NVRA#44. Racers are welcome here, hey wait.......don't be too quick with that intro #44.
I had a '57 Ford race car once, then I got a job and moved on to Chevrolets :p .
Were you in the censored or uncensored version of the Dale Earnhardt movie? I watched both, and I don't remember seeing ya' in censored version.
I think I remember racing against you at a few NVRA events, but that's because the only times I saw your car was in my rearview mirror :) .
I didn't realize that my buddy Billie Bob was related to you . Well now, that clears everything up for me. Now I know why Billie Bob is the way he is.
By the way, did ya' go visit him at the county correctional center? Or were you already there as an inmate and Billie Bob came to visit ya' for an extended stay?
Now, I bet the next thing you're gonna' tell me is that Millie Jean is your half sister and Bubba is a cousin. What about Alvin, do ya' know him? He was trying to hit on Mille Jean, but that pissed Billie Bob off. That's when he plumb went loco and pulled the mobile home off the cinder block columns with Millie Jean inside and Alvin underneath.
You'd have to do a search on this site for the whole story. It's kinda long and complex, but really worth reading.
Well, as ya' probably know, Millie Jean and her step mom are now living with Bubba. I still think Bubba is in over his head. I told him to call me if he needed help, but it hasn't happened yet :( . Do you know the step mom? Just wondering if she was any good, if ya' know what I mean ;) .
Again, welcome. Hope ta' see ya' in the pits at the dirt track races Friday night. Just duck if I take a swing at ya' :D . Nothing personal, stuff just happens after a few cold frosties and a white liquor chasers.

Yep, that name is real familiar. Most everyone down in this area wish they never heard it, but every once in awhile it still comes up in heated conversations. Think he got tossed out for rough drivin' and fightin'. Other than that, he's a good ol'boy.
Your old car looked real good in my rear view mirror at Carolina Speedway the night I ran against it. Seems to me the last time I saw it, it was parked with the left front tire against or under the 4th turn hub rail with steam coming outa' the radiator. That was with a so-called professional driver behind the wheel.

Chip Looper {spit on the ground} A vintage race was scheduled at Taladega Short Track and CL showed his ass and got the event cancelled after we were in the track. and we were kicked out . Embarresed the hell out of me as the owner of the track is a friend of mine. Welcome again..
