so, apparently intros are required by common courtesy, i'm sometimes known as punk rod todd from los punk rods c.c. i drive a 65 effie mild custom,lowered str8 six strait pipes going for the creey vibe ...drive that one to work painting houses. also have 63 merc meteor mild custom,shaved, cut coils ,lowering blocks. i like 60s style customs for myself...am practical and like big trunk,back seat,and being a tradesman always gotta have a truck.im not a rich guy ,dont have room for stuff i cant use daily.am currently organizing "kowtown custom greaserama"car show for 5th year...cant type r spel rel gud will be askin' lots o questions an' postin' pics as i become more familiar with this infernal contraption

Todd, my dad had a Mercury when I was a kid, it had the rear window that could be lowered, that was cool. What year was that '66?

Yes I am, my intro post is around here somewhere. I am going with two friends from the area, on is Gas Stove-Bolt, the other isn't a member of H.A.M.B., and also bringing my son. So there will be four of us. We are looking forward to a good time and lots of cars.

that would have been a monterey with the breeze-way back window- from 63, 64, & 65
the 57 turnpike cruiser had that back light, too- i think.
