Brush are you building the chassis?I was wondering about the surface plate it is on.What are the measurements?I am about to order the materials to build a plate like that.By the way, the truck is killer!

Brush -what really interested me was that the adapters (center section to ford axle tube) appear to be steel not the usual aluminum. Thanks again

LOCK/ When I purchased the rear.there was 3 predrilled sections on the unit already existing.....seems to be an integrel part of the entire housing

Katz/ Well I have some really nice outta the box hugger type headers from HOT HEADS......aint gonna use 'em...there fer sale....brand new......cant use em cause they come too close to the ground surface(2") and I dont want too cut up cause then there useless.I guess the real reason is cause they just look to plain on this set-up. And I can't use bonneville type pipes cause they wont clear around the bottom of the cab doors(using 3" pipe for exhaust.....kinda have to do some R&D with some sketches..that is the next step.....and no ,not yet with any paintings or drawings.....been way too busy http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

WICKED RIDE..........

How are you ging to hang the rear end? Ladder bars and a model A spring? Coil overs ?

This should be one bad ass hot rod when you get it on the road.

Keep sharing pictures as you go.
Thanks
Chuck

Hey Brush.......whadya want for the headers? I plan on setting my engine higher in the chassis that yours...clearance should be no problem for me...I wanna run shorty stacks [made from Cyclone Purple Hornies with turn-outs] up the back of the cab...Talk to me, brothah.
