I am going to be spraying a red metalflake roof. This is the first time im am spraying metalflake. Is there a certain siz tip i have to put in my gun or can i spray it normally? The flake is going to be a real glittery flake. Thanks Nate

Not sure on the tip size Nate. Will leave that one to the spraying gurus.
I do know that you need to agitate the heck out of the paint to keep the flake from falling to the bottom. I've read that you can throw a couple of clean nuts in and continually swirl. This keeps things mixed up.

the size tip to use kidna depends on the size flake your going to use, I used just normal sized stuff and sprayed it with our primer gun, it was a 2.0 I believe (or really really close to that) is your using the super tiny stuff it can be as small as 1.75 (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not sure if you have to go bigger than a 2.0 or not with the big bass boat stuff, maybe lownslow will pop in and tell ya what the deal is. I'm still fairly new to this and he helped me out loads. if ya wanna see some crazy flake check out the buick on his site www.imperialcustoms.com (http://www.imperialcustoms.com)
