My Father owned this heap briefly and as usual he did alot of hacking and welding on it in a short time, once all the good stuff was done he traded it off on another pile he could hack on (nice T touring body and nailhead) my father LOVES to measure, cut and weld, as soon as theres nothing left to cut up it's bye bye. Anyway my father did the S10 chassis conversion before it went out the back door. Firstly my father and it's new owner whacked the top then it changed owners again and the new owner went to town on it. He's narroewed the nose 7.5 inches so as to better suit the track width of the S10 chassis. The last time I saw this truck is when it was being chopped and I guess I was being a little judgemental in assuming it was destined to become a ubiquitous tilt column, 350/350, red cookie cutter. Last night my Father and I stopped by to check progress, I was firstly suprised to see a killer 53 or 54 bell air in the driveway featuring a great scallop/flame job and supremes then I was overwhelmed when he opened up the door and I got a look at the front end of the truck. Looks like a KILLER ride in the makings...

The whole deal. It's also got a nice 48 ford wheel and column...

Looking real Kustom!
Have you considered peaking the top of the windshield like a Kaiser?
That would go with the other peaked features... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

those really are just the 51/52 grill teeth, stock ones had three. Ive seen lots of trucks out there using 5 or even more.
