straight 8 overhead valve solid lifters,runs very good with no motor noise or smoke or problems
this is my daily driver,mail getter etc,starts right up even in zero degree weather or when its 90 degrees
has rust under bottoms of both body extensions between doors and rear fenders and the drivers side rocker is rusty
floors solid but has 2 -2 inch holes in trunk ez fix
chrome is bad on both front and rear bumper but straight,grille good
dash very nice all gauges work,charging system very good and great oil pressure,uses a qt at 1300 miles
no leaks drips or odors
cloth is bad on seats and door panels and headliner
why build a rat rod when this aged into one without any customizing
shocks need rebuild
exhaust and brakes new as well as carb and fuel pump,pump peddle 3 times and starts right up even if it sits week at time
hood opens ez either way
cruises highway speeds i drive it 200 miles each way to duluth and back or mpls 100 or st cloud every week
I just disconnected heater cores as 1 of them leaked a couple drops
new battery in November
i would drive this anywhere
