I hope...
Well been lurkin and reading posts for at least a year or so. Anyway I come from faraway country Finland. there is at least one guy at this board from here aka "Kartsa". i´m 44 years YOUNG and been involved with american iron since I got my drivin licence. First car ´66 GT Dart with 273 and 4 speed with factory Hurst shifter. What a fun car. Worked two shifts in Volvo factory in Sweden to get that one. Since then many Chubbies and others including a couple of `55s. Current rides are a ´46 Ply buz coupe and my FUN car a AV8. I´ll try to send some links but I´m so F...ing clumsy with these modern day wonders it may never happen? Anyway been following the posts today and I´m glad to say that AV8 wont leave this board `cause his book together with some friends of trad rides in Finland and Sweden really helped me to reach the completion of my roadster. At last excuse my english, I´ve tried my best. The links:

There´s something on the works too but I´ll save that for later ´cause I really don´t know if this works and of course I maybe even get shot at the dawn by the GURUs on the board....

You could probably give lessons in spelling, punctuation, and grammar to some people here.

Welcome Loud'.

Wow! Nice stuff. And you live right next door to Russia. I am continually amazed by the quality of the american-style hot rods being built and owned by Europeans! Most of us here in the U.S. would be hard pressed to find the rare parts you have on that aV8 roadster. Must take a high degree of motivation and dedication to build those cars waaaaaaaaaaay over there. -----not to mention money.

Nice Av8. I like the black one also.

How much chop on your Model A windshield? About 3"? It looks really good.

The black one is really show class compared to mine. ´My friend got it on the road this summer due to some problems with painters ´cause he would not accept nothin but the best. The windshield chop is maybe an quart (5-6 mm) less than 3 inch. My memory isn´t that good but the amount was due to some proböems with ordering wrong frame compared with posts I had. Something to do with std chopped/deluxe original heíght. Then we ended cutting some 70 mm of the frame with the owner of the black roadster...
