OT - Minnesota Christmas.....

WHY I LOVE MINNESOTA AT CHRISTMAS TIME...

When it's Christmas time in Minnesota,
And the gentle breezes blow,
About seventy miles an hour
And it's fifty-two below.
You can tell you're in Minnesota
'cause the snow's up to your butt,
And you take a breath of Christmas air
And your nose holes both freeze shut.
The weather here is wonderful,
So I guess I'll hang around,
I could NEVER leave Minnesota,
My feet are frozen to the ground.

Ah yes spoken like a true minnesotan.But what about the part hibernating in the garage for the winter to build a car.And then spending 4 hours at back to the 50's weekend to find a spot and spending 2 min in line to eat chesse curds priceless.

Ahhhh, the memories...I have heard all the horrors of Duluth winters. My father is originally from those parts, he moved here in the 50's. I still have a Great Aunt and numerous half ass cousins there.

Yeah man my favorite part of the Minnesota winter is at the end when all the frozen dogshit and debris thaws at once...one day walkin along after a fast thaw I was shocked and depressed to see a frozen dog turd balanced on the big bolt at the top of a hydrant...forces of nature beyond our control.

Worked pretty good until the shit started thawing on top of the garage...!
