Stovebolt, Ellis intake and carb Q's/help needed

I just got a clean 2x1 ellis for my stovebolt, i already have a pair of rochester "BC" carbs for it, and as i was setting them on the intake to mock it up, i noticed the carb doesn't match the bolt pattern on the intake? WTF??? The intake measures 2 5/8" center to center, and the carbs are 2 15/16" center to center. Anyone got any ideas on what carbs will fit, hell anyone got a pair to get rid of?

I believe that the 2 5/8 spacing was on the 216s and dipper 235s. The later 235s had the 2 15/16 spacing. I have a some Carter YFs that should fit (they were too narrow for my Offy intake). PM me if you're interested, and I'll check the measurements.
