Forgot I still had this, got it during a night school refresher course back in 75.
"Automotive Sheet Metal Repair" by Robert L. Sargent. It is a Chilton book.
Written to be a textbook but can easily be followed at home. Written in 1969 so it doesnt get into MIG use. However it covers all other aspects including portapowers, when to use lead instead of plastic filler and lots of other good stuff for older vehicles. The best part is the detail he goes into about what can be accomplished with basic tools.
I havent checked availability but do a Google search, EBay, local library, etc.
You wont be dissapointed.
