Well here it is, I hate to sell it, but I have WAY too many old Ford projects to work on, and this one is the last in line, so its time to go. This is a vintage original Henry Ford 1930-1931 Ford roadster body on ASC 1932 Ford rails. This body was originally a Nevada car that was hotrodded in the 1940's. All of the patch panels were replaced, and they cut down the back half back in the day, but it was professionally put all back to stock and is done very well. The cowl is very rare, and is off of a 1930-31 Ford Model A firetruck, so there was no windshield, only the rare windshield cover. This is perfect for the hand fabricated duvalle windshield. Since it has always been a Northern Nevada hot rod, there is very little rust, and what rust there was has all been repaired with patchpanels. The body has a light layer of surface rust along with what is left of some old paint. There are no signs of body filler or bondo that I can find, but there are some dents and dings throughout the body that can be seen. These can easily be hammered out or filled by a body shop. Everything is quite straight and VERY solid for its original condition and age. The hood is in original condition, and has a couple dents and dings that can be easily hammered out. The original 1932 Ford grille has been lightly media blasted and will need a couple areas filled that has some pinhole rust areas on the lower portion and some small spots on the top-an easy fix with some body filler. The ASC 1932 Ford frame is in very nice shape, and has been lightly media blasted. It has Model A front and rear crossmembers strongly tack welded in just in case it wanted to be changed. The front axel is an original Model A that was professionally dropped 4" by Okie Joe hooked to original Model A wishbones that have been angled for proper camber, and has perfect 1940 ford spindles and drums, and the bearings and races look to be very clean and oiled. The spring and perches are stock Ford Model A. The rear end is a 1940-48 banjo with stock wishbones and torque tube. The motor mounts and center crossmember is set up for a flathead Ford engine with a '39 style transmission. Original King Bee headlights are mounted to original Model A headlight bar stands. The rear wheels are original 1934 Ford 17" wire wheels (5x5.5 bolt pattern) and the fronts are 1935 Ford 16" wire wheels (5x5.5 bolt pattern). This is an outstanding project and is perfect for a great hot rod flathead powered project too. This is a LOT less than a Brookville BODY even costs, and this one is all original Henry steel with great 1932 Ford parts!! Willing to possibly trade (can work something out) for the right pre 1970's vintage British, ect motorcycle, or pre 1950 Harley or pre 1955 Indian motorcycle. 7K obo. Call 775-560-4332. Thanks!
