1954 Buick Special with V8 Nailhead,clean

This is a 1954 Buick Special with a nailhead V8 in it.I have not started or driven this car but was told it does both. It also has the right fron fender pushed back a small bit but could be easily straightened out. The interior is nice. This is a car that with very little work is ready to go cruisin in style with. Brakes work,motor sounds good (electric choke needs to be adjusted),trans seems to be ok.
A buff and polish would do wonders for it. If I did not have too many cars as it is,I would definitely buy the 2 I listed here for him. (I ended up buying the truck :) ) It is sitting inside of our shop in Battle Creek. I am including pics of it. Please pm me with any questions. Again I know he paid more than this for the car and then shipped it to Michigan from Oregon. Where aound the Midwest are you going to find this clean of a vehicle for this kind of money.

Bump,the more I look at this car the more I like it. There is a sicker in the back window stating the owner was a vet,a WW1 vet! Now that is cool. A WW1 vet has owned and driven this car in its past. This would be a good car to do some research on it as to its past.

Bump I realize this is a more door car but for this kind of money,this is a CHEAP cruiser. Put a dual exhaust on it,some radial tires and use it for the long hauls.

bump got starter cleaned up and started engine. sounds good. choke needs to be adjusted and fresh gas put in. car moves under own power and brakes work good. clean and adjust carb,install a dual exhause and radial tires,buff out the paint and have a cruiser ready for the coming warm months. ;) In a another month the price of this car will be going up.

Bumping for a decent car that with a little work would make a great everyday driver. Nailhead engine with a good automatic trans. Get it while its hot! ;)

4500 views.this deserves another bump. Lots of interest. Will look at serious offers. Git it running. engine sounds good. Still need to clean up the points as I installed new plugs. Maybe a carb rebuild. Drove it down road,trans feels good but steering is a little loose. i have not had time to see whats up with that but I wouldn't think that would be hard to fix.
This would make a great daily driver with a little TLC. The paint would clean up pretty good. front bumper and right front headlight door is damaged as is the right front fender but honestly not as bad as it sounds just do not want anybody to have any surprises. This car IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!
