Unable to view photos on some posts?

Hello,

I've (very) new, and unable to view photos on some, but not all of the posts. For instance I was just reading a post about welding up Model 'A' frame rails, and there were references to photos, but none showed up (nor did any links display). However, I can see attachments and links and photos throughout other posts.

Just curious what I am doing wrong...

I have the same problem. Sometime just an "X" appears but no photos. What up with that??

I think it has to do with sometimes the age of the post - or more importantly - where the photo was to begin with. If linked off a different location on the InterWeb - and the location is changed, or the photo is deleted - then there will be problems.

Sucks - b.c going through some old posts - you don't see a lot of the important stuff.

Thanks JonnyRockets... that makes alot of sense. I'll just have to live with the fact that I should have signed up sooner...
