Does anyone have any pics of Keiths chopped and channeled Model A pick up. It influenced me to build my car but I only ever saw a few pics of it.

I beleive that it is now in Japan.

fuck no that aint the truck! keith's was a 28-29, was chopped like 6 inches or so, frame was z-ed the width of the frame front and rear, and also was channeled the width of the frame. had a small block in it with a hydro, duece grill shell that was about 2 inches off the ground.

Very cool shirt. I bought mine at CHRR last year and wore it and hung it in the garage while building mine. I didnt chop or channel my one as I wouldnt be able to fit in it otherwise.

Here it is, at the moment it runs a stock banger and T5 box and sits at 80mph on the highway. I want to build a supercharged engine for it for something different

Truck looks great! I was going to do my 34 a bit like the weesner car also. Even had some 16" firestones for the front.

I am 6' 2" so common sense got the best of me. Sold the tires and am now going for a full fenderd car on 32 frame.

My car is unchanneled and has the kick up at the toe board and behind the seat

Here's a too-contrasty pic of Keith's truck, but its proportions show up pretty well. When I consider what a snug fit I am in my stock '34 cab, I marvel at the guys who squeeze into the chopped/channeled ones.

Those are some cool trucks!! Any more pics?? My 34 is channeled 6" and with my 4" thick mock up seat bottom I still have enough room for about 3" of chop(Coming up no pun intended). Are the 28/9 cabs much smaller????

Last time I was in a model A truck was more than 40 years ago, so I can't answer the question. It was also about 100 pounds ago, so any comparison I might make would be apples and watermelons.

jeff-

even if that truck isn't as low as yours, at least its owner doesn't plan to install an air conditioner. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
