History Anyone noticed the dragster in the Toyota truck commerical?

Is that an old Mickey Thompson dragster on the trailer behind the pickup? Has a big number 6 on it for the commercial but I can't find photos anywhere of the dragster. Just curious.

Didn't they do a commercial last year with a blown hemi sitting in the bed of one of their new trucks. Pretty sure they did, cuzz I thought it was kinda weird to have a Chrysler engine in a Toyota commercial.

I haven't seen the commercial today but it ends with a pickup making a big "6" in the dirt like at a rodeo arena. The dragster has a big cheesy no. 6 on it's side like a toy.

 

what makes you think that it's a M/T dragster?

 

The frame shape, body and light blue metallic paint. I wanted to see if there were photos of it on the web somewhere. Somebody had to put it on the trailer and get it ready for the commercial. Looks kinda like the Assault car but I'm not sure.

It's Mickey's Assault I. I just saw it at the NHRA museum this afternoon.

 

Wasnt there a t roadster in that too mabey anouther commercial?? I forget the name but a pretty famous one too
