I own the Polaris Drag Team's 1971 Boss 429 Pro-Stock Mustang and am in the process of documenting its full history. At this webpage, you can see pictures of the car being stripped in preparation for acid dipping, followed by an article with a picture of the car at Ford's engineering building #3 on December 15th, 1970, then the car at Logghe's shop with a Boss 429 engine in it:

I have been told that Kar Kraft may have installed the first Boss 429 engine in my car, but I do not know if that is correct or not. I suspect that such work, if it was done, would have been done at Kar Kraft Dearborn. Did anyone here work at KK Dearborn, or know anyone who worked there in December of 1970-spring of 1971?

Any information about my car specifically, or the Polaris Drag Team in general, would be much appreciated.
