I have this unknown make steering gear, came with some old speed parts I bought recently. Center steering? Any ideas of maker and date? Thanks for any input, not sure what to do with it. T.

Looks like a steering box from a Franklin. Late 1920's.

Franklin car converted to center steer. Very popular in the early days. The modern Schroeder center steer was copied from the Franklin. I have them in my speedsters and sprinter. If you need the adjustment directions I have the original Franklin instructions.
