noob question http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif ... was wondering what type of shop can de-arch springs? did a search for dearching springs on the HAMB, some good do-it-yourself info, but time isnt on my side and there wasnt any information on the type of shop that can do this work.

your insight is appreciated

Check in the Yellow Pages under "Spring Shop - Repair or Manufacturing"

They will have the stuff to do it.

Check under Heavy Truck Parts & Services for a spring shop.

Is it the same to have a spring rearched?

yes,
rearched or dearched runs about 80.00 a set here in KC. Theres a good shop just south of downtown that'll put the teflon thingies between the leaves at the same time no extra charge.

Another method worth consideration is reversing the eyes..... worked well to lower my coupe, and didn't cost much. While they are working on your main leaf, can probably get it done cheap.
