Howdy everyone,
My name is Geoff and I've been guilty of lurking for a loooong time. Anyway, officially joined a couple months ago and finally got around to doing this.
As the name suggests, I've got a 53' Chevy 210. No I hadn't seen that episode of Monster Garage before I got it, and I don't mind telling you that it wouldn't have made a bit of difference. This was the same type of car my Grandpa used to have when I was little. It got stolen, he died and this is my way of keeping his memory around.
So I'm not exactly sure what to do here, but as far as what kinda work I do....
Years ago I welded on a VW and that broke me in on the MIG. I've been playing around with one ever since, but I would never say I know what I'm doing.
Mechanical stuff is usually me and a grungy manual, working my way through it with some of the right tools.
I'm a novice to the nth degree, but I've been having a great time getting dirty, and trying to figure out what I'm going to do to this car.
So there you have it. I hope I did this right!
