Found this flipping through the pages of the new Rod & Custom....
Thought of Jay right away...a wicked-cool mod built from a 29 Nash with a straight six Chev and three speed! Leather hood straps, friction shocks, wires...this thing ROCKS!!
(Anyone got a 29 Nash roadster cowl I can slap a bow on and toss to my bud for X-mas??? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

the guy who built that is in Az now, moved from Iowa.
Killer little car, I can put up some bad color shots of it in a few minutes. a ton of neat details on it.

Dutch Eshelman. Sorry he moved out west, we lost one of our best builders here in Iowa. ALL his cars were way cool.

Speaking of... Does anyone have any more pics of that copper modified in the New Street Rodder? It has hood sides but no hood top. Looks killer. It's in one of the event coverage stories.

As long as we're requesting pics of modifieds that were in R&C, anyone got any more info/pics of the one in last month's Young Guns section?
Thanks,
Ed

Them are both badass cars...
Cool pix. Thanx.
Jay
I am not a big fan of modifieds, but both of those are super nice! Most of the time those cars just look funny to me, but both of those seem to have been built to avoid looking like they're missing parts.
