Well I got the top in primer, and the door sills replaced. I've fliped the cab on it's back and have everything cleaned, patched, and painted underneath.

I also have a frame planned and drawn up...well almost. Still have a few questions in my mind I haven't settled yet.

But I went to J&J Steel this afternoon and picked up 24' of 2"X4" 120 wall tubeing, and 20' of 2"X2" 120 wall tubeing. Man was I in for a happy surprise! The bill came to $55.43. I was expecting much more.

Reading the Feb 04 Street rodder I saw what they did on the frame of the little blue RPU. Zing the frame at the grill, instead of at the firewall. I really like that and think I'll do somthing just like it. I also think it will look good cause I'm useing 46-48 bones which kinda have the same step at the front. Should seem the frame and bones are bent at the same place....kinda http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Also got turned on to a grill from one of the more quiet HAMBers here.

Got a '69 350, and a 4 speed. So far I'm in the hole for 500.00, not counting bondo, sandpaper, nuts and bolts, etc.

Thanks to everybody for advice and helping look out for parts. (manyolecars) And the trucks pics that keep me fired up!

Hopeing I'll make the next HAMB drags!
