I finally found my pictures of the hamb drags! They were tucked away in a box in my grandmothers attic! I couldn't believe that she kept them after all of that time! More are comming tonight!

Even the background is hot rods, no late model stuff to ruin the antique look.

If that picture of Denise doesn't sum up what hot rodding SHOULD be about, then I don't know what would.

Post more of the antique pics when you can. That's neat.

Its photoshop!
Color photo converted to greyscale then converted to duotone. Pick your pantone colors for the duotone.
Convert back to cmyk.
I then used some special photoshop brushes that I either acquired or made myself and applied them to the top.

Rambler run off.....I love it. Woulda looked like 1965 except for that little white car at top left....thanks for the memories.
The "Fly" appears to be caught in the flypaper of 1959.

Those are freakin' bitchen!!
Is there any way I could coax one out of ya for the BFD??? Are you selling them? Once again, neat work... it takes talent to even dream up what it would look like in the first place...

Maybe you should talk to the guys at TRJ... they did a similar thing for last years round-up... antiqued the pics... maybe you, ryan and jim can put something together...

Thanks again for sharing,
Sam.

hey rocky, the white car can be taken out of the image http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif then you will have your 1965 digs

This one is for denise. And yes rocky anything can be airbrushed out. Removing the car would be no problem!

Sam, I have a grip of images of the digger and many more. It might take through the weekendto finish them up.

Like I said before if you wand the picture of your car I will gladly email you a hi-res jpg that you can use for whatever.

Great work KCSledz. I've got a whole bunch of pics from The Rat Rod Day over the weekend. I might have to do the same thing to them. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sodbuster - you might want to check with Jim that it's OK to modify his pics. I think he shoots pics for a living. Would be polite, that's all. (They would look great all patina'd up though. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Chris,
If you get the OK from Jim and can get the pictures preferrably in a high res format I would have no problem ruffin them up for you. Then you will have them in a version worthy of printing out to hang in the shop living room, ect. You live close enough to where I can get you a disk in the mail pretty easy.
