28-29 A dash rail ???

Ok, I cut my coupe windshield posts down, and now they are about 3/4 by 1 1/2. I have a big gap between the dash rail and the posts now. What is the difference between a roadster dash rail and a coupe rail? Was wondering if it (roadster) would fit, or do I need to extend my coupe rail.

Roadster is different from coupe visually but same width

Roadster is WAY different. Much easier to just add a little to the coupe rail. And much cheaper too (have you priced a roadster dash rail?).
