My dad just picked up a late 20's (atleast 1927) Essex Sedan and we need help Identifying it. Can anyone tell me the main differences or does anyone have a serial number breakdown? No, sorry I dont have pictures.

'27 thru '29 look very similar. The '28 & 29 have a reveal on the cowl between the firewall and door, the '27 is plain. My truck was built from a '27 2-door sedan.
Please note that only the cab of my truck is Essex, the rest is 1930 Chevy.

Wow, you guys are sure dragging up some ancient posts!! The car is now sitting outside of a friends shop, and the parts car i got later i gave to a friend who had it stolen.
