PLEASE READ EVERYTHING! I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE & WILL ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE. THANKS FOR LOOKING. THE PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE. LOCAL PICK UP IS PREFERRED OR BUYER ARRANGES ALL TRANSPORTATION. I WILL HELP LOAD IT. CASH ON PICK UP IS PREFERRED.

Up for sale today is my 1940 Chevy project.
The body has all new metal (everywhere)
all garnish moldings
hood sides (I think I have a spare set If I find them I will throw them in.
S10 column (keyed)
steel floor supports
New power windows (tracks welded in just needs to be installed).
custom tail lights 70 Malibu side markers with custom fabricated chrome buckets for double filament bulbs. (Very bright)
setup for 2 piece V butted windshield
I also have the back window (curved)
a ford probe gas door has been grafted into the driver side rear quarter (to be released from the inside
I have the head liner bows
New 7" Brake booster & master cylinder (Installed)
Used manual rack
New stamped VIN tag with good numbers
Custom made hidden hinges for the trunk (about 90% done just needs to be mounted in the trunk)
Now for the car itself: It's a 40 Chevy 2 door sedan we call the "TANK". It is built very solid with NOS rear quarters 90% installed
New EMS rear pan (under the deck lid)
New EMS inner & outer rockers
New EMS cowl corners
smooth firewall made from 16ga steel set back 2"
brake booster is frenched into the firewall
all new 16ga floors
new trans tunnel
the doors have hidden hinges
custom smooth door handles from a Subaru GLXT coupe grafted in with bear claw latches
the front quarter windows in the doors have been removed & the window sills have been straightened so that one piece windows can be installed
all power window tracks are installed
the bottom 8" of the doors have been replaced (inside & out)
1987 IROC (4 Wheel disk brakes) rear end with parallel leaf springs
It's rolling on nice Keystone Klassics (14" fronts & 15" rears)
transmission cross member (bolted in for easy removal)
fat man cross member with mustang II (About 90% done)
All the work on the doors was professionally done
the hood has been welded together to create a peaked one piece hood
good hood hinges that have been nickle plated.
The floors are about 95% done.
There is NO ROT on this car! Its all new metal.
I really dont want to sell this car but I have a disabled child to take care of & have no time for this car any more. I call it the TANK because I built this car to be VERY safe. After all my; family was going to ride in this car. Any questions email me directly at CHEBY33@GMAIL.COM
